Course Content Management System (CMS)

It was established in order to help students share the content and course materials of the lecturers with the students. Students and faculty members can use our e-mail account and password via http://cms.iyte.edu.tr .

Faculty members can install the presentation they prepared or supplied (.ppt, .pptx .key etc.), document (.pdf, .doc, .xls, etc.), audio (.mp3, .wav, etc.), video (.mpg,. avi, .mkv, .flv, youtube, metacafe, etc.), image (.jpg, .gif, .png, etc.), moving application (java applets, .swf animations, etc.) files on the system, also they can link to another page, edit a page, and share them with their students.

In this system, faculty members can assign homework assignments, create wikis, edit questionnaires, edit online chat, open a forum and provide discussion on any subject, create a chat session with real-time voice, video, presentation, desktop, whiteboard shares with virtual class application. For these activities, they can also provide students with lecture notes with an automatically generated note entry.

Gradebook (course note book) module with note weights can be entered, the desired statistics (Average, Standard Deviation, etc.) can be taken from the system.
