Research Support

It provides “starting support” to the faculty members who started their academic career in IZTECH so that they can start their research activities without losing any time. The initial support program started in 2012, and after a certain experience, it became official with the “Izmir Institute of technology initial support application and application procedures” approved by the Board of Directors of the Institute in 2016. Within the scope of this program, the faculty members who have started their academic career in IZTECH for the first time and who have received awards from reputable national and international institutions are given support at the beginning of each year determined by the Board of Directors of the Institute. From this support, the 13 faculty members benefited in 2012, 4 in 2013, 20 in 2014, 6 in 2015, 4 in 2016, 5 in 2017 and 6 in 2018. Apart from the initial support, the demands of the new academic staff are primarily addressed, research support (machinery/equipment, consumptions, etc.) and laboratory is provided.
