IZTECH Won First Place
Rector Baran won a gold medal in the ranking in which IZTECH ranked first.
Izmir Institute of Technology ( IZTECH) ranked first in Turkey in the Turkey University Satisfaction Survey. It ranked in the top three among state universities in all categories.
IZTECH, which has always managed to be an A+ university in the researches conducted by the University Research Laboratory (UniAr) since 2016, achieved the first place in the 2023 ranking. IZTECH Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran was awarded a gold medal according to the results of the Rector Performance Evaluation.
Emphasizing that IZTECH has added a new one to its national and global achievements in the recent period, Rector Baran said the following on the subject: “Our institute ranked first in the TÜMA 2023 General Satisfaction Ranking. In addition, I was awarded a gold medal award with the votes of my dear students. First of all, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to these achievements. In our IZTECH, which I am always proud to be a member of, we carry out projects and work with all our strength in order to provide our students with a good academic education as well as raising them as role model leading individuals, entrepreneurs and scientists, and to be an exemplary campus in every sense. As IZTECH, we are proud and happy to be ranked first in one of the most prestigious rankings of our country. We will continue to work and produce to increase the brand value of our country in global competition.”
In the interviews conducted with 47,761 students from 200 universities across Turkey, students were asked questions under different headings. University students’ level of satisfaction with their universities was measured. Universities were scored according to the criteria of Satisfactory Learning Experience, Satisfying Campus and Life, Satisfaction with the Management and Operation of the Institution, Richness of Learning Opportunities and Resources, and Personal Development and Career Support. According to the results of the survey, IZTECH ranked first in Turkey in the General Satisfaction Ranking, while Rector Baran won the gold medal.
