IZTECH Recieved 100 Full Points from European Commission

“Our Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) application for 2021-2027 Erasmus+ Period has been accepted with 100 full points by the European Commission. As IZTECH, we are proud to announce that we are ready for new Erasmus bilateral agreements and brand new projects in the new era!”

By ECHE; the certificate enabling IZTECH to join Erasmus Program for the new period, Izmir Institute of Technology will be able to make brand new bilateral agreements as it has the opportunity to continue over 100 bilateral agreements already available through the Charter.

With the renewed ECHE for the term 2021-2027, we are one step closer to our goal of sending more students to Higher Education Institutions in Europe. IZTECH has adopted as a principle of making new bilateral agreements not only for the exchange of students in European universities but also to all the world’s leading universities together with other sub-branches of Erasmus activities. In addition to student exchange, IZTECH is committed to accelerating initiatives related to Erasmus activities focused on project making.

IZTECH has been an active participant of the Erasmus Program since 2004. We have 107 inter-institutional agreements with 23 program countries. During this time IZTECH has supported mobility of over 800 students for studies, over 250 students for traineeship, 130 academicians for teaching assignment, 82 staff for training under the program, and we hosted 140 international students. We will continue to expand our participation in Erasmus by new bilateral agreements and projects together with existing the KA 103 and KA 203 projects.
